Original EliExplains material
© 2026 Vansh Tiwari. Rights are reserved in original copyrightable contributions to EliExplains.org, including protectable text, illustrations, code, and creative selection or arrangement, except where a different owner or license is identified. This notice does not claim ownership of third-party material, public-domain material, facts, ideas, or AI-generated elements that are not protected by applicable law.
No general open license has been granted for the site’s protected original material. You may reuse material where an applicable license, fair use, or another legal exception permits it; other uses require permission. Nothing in this notice restricts rights granted by law or an applicable third-party license. Attribution alone does not make an otherwise unauthorized use lawful.
Names and branding
The EliExplains name, logo, and Eli character branding identify this educational project. Names and short phrases are not claimed as copyrightable works, and no trademark registration is asserted here. Any trademark rights are separate from copyright. Do not use the branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.
Owner and educational initiative
Vansh Tiwari is the founder, owner, and operator of EliExplains.org. The site is part of Open Mosaic Education Foundation, currently an educational initiative operated by Vansh Tiwari, not a separate registered legal entity. Naming that initiative does not transfer ownership of the site or its intellectual property.
Third-party sources
Lessons are grounded in authoritative sources such as government publications, open-access research, and openly licensed educational resources. Being free to read does not make a work free to copy: except where a license permits reuse, we use sources for facts and understanding, write our own explanations, and cite the source rather than reproducing its text. Where openly licensed material (for example, Creative Commons–licensed works) is actually reused or adapted, the lesson will carry the attribution the license requires — title, author, source, and license — and will note modifications. The science and health library is a study companion to OpenStax textbooks (Rice University, licensed CC BY 4.0) and similar open resources; each of those lessons links the book or reference it accompanies, and the structure, headings and terminology follow that source with modifications. OpenStax and the other publishers are not affiliated with and do not endorse EliExplains.org. Citation of a source never implies that its authors endorse EliExplains.org.
Software
The site is built with open-source software, including React, Vite, and Lucide icons, and typefaces licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Their license notices are preserved in the project’s THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. The EliExplains source code itself has not yet been placed under an open-source license.
Permissions and concerns
Send permission requests and copyright concerns to Vansh Tiwari at [email protected]. Identify the page, the material concerned, the proposed use or alleged infringement, and any relevant ownership or license information. A request is not permission; uses requiring permission must wait for an express grant. Rights already granted by law or an applicable license remain unaffected.
